RIO GRANDE VALLEY The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics learned on Wednesday that, due to concerns about the safety of student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has canceled all remaining spring sports competition, including baseball, golf, tennis and outdoor track & field.
